The 2027 Polaris RZR Pro R Boost is Polaris’ newest high-performance side-by-side (SxS) vehicle. It is the first Pro R model to come with a turbocharged engine, producing 275 horsepower. Turbocharged Engine Delivers 275 Horsepower
The biggest change in the 2027 Polaris RZR Pro R Boost is its new turbocharged 2.0-litre ProStar Fury engine. The standard Pro R makes 225 horsepower, while the new model produces 275 horsepower and 223 lb-ft of torque with the help of a 66-mm Garrett turbocharger.
This makes the Pro R Boost the most powerful production side-by-side available today. Polaris says the engine can deliver full power in temperatures up to 115°F and at elevations up to 10,000 feet. A liquid-to-air intercooler helps keep the engine cool, even during long and demanding off-road rides.
More Power Than Its Main Rivals
The Pro R Boost moves ahead of its biggest competitors in both horsepower and torque.
- Polaris RZR Pro R Boost: 275 hp and 223 lb-ft
- Kawasaki Teryx H2: 250 hp and 146 lb-ft
- Can-Am Maverick R: 240 hp and 170 lb-ft
The higher torque output also arrives earlier in the power band, giving the Pro R Boost stronger acceleration and better performance across different riding conditions.
Improved Cooling System
To handle the additional power, Polaris redesigned the cooling system.
A new rear-mounted radiator sits behind the occupants and receives airflow through a roof scoop. Dedicated cooling systems have also been added for the turbocharger and transmission, helping maintain performance during long rides or in hot weather.
The updated cooling package also helps reduce heat buildup inside the continuously variable transmission (CVT), improving reliability during aggressive off-road driving.
Stronger Drivetrain for Better Durability
To handle the extra power, Polaris upgraded many important parts of the drivetrain. The CVT transmission now has a new clutch system with better airflow, a larger clutch, and a stronger drive belt. The company also strengthened the half shafts and front differential, allowing the vehicle to handle more power more efficiently.
The Pro R Boost weighs about 200 pounds more than the standard Pro R, but the extra 50 horsepower helps keep its performance strong and responsive.
Ultimate and Ultra Trims
The 2027 Polaris RZR Pro R Boost is available in Ultimate and Ultra trims. The Ultimate model includes Polaris’ adaptive Dynamix suspension system for improved comfort and control.
The Ultra trim adds several premium upgrades, including:
- Dynamix DVS suspension with active sway bar links
- Carbon-fibre hood
- Carbon seat bezel
- Genuine racing steering wheel
- 32-inch BFGoodrich off-road tires
- Exclusive color and graphics package
These features are designed for riders looking for maximum off-road performance and premium styling.
Built for High-Performance Off-Road Driving
The RZR Pro R Boost is designed for challenging environments, including deserts, rocky trails, dunes, and mountain routes.
Due to its turbocharged engine, upgraded suspension, reinforced drivetrain, and advanced cooling system, the vehicle is capable of delivering strong performance even in demanding conditions.
